Being Grateful - New Art

What's in the Bag

I express daily gratitude that I am able to spend time being creative and share my work.  Here are some of the artwork from my Gratitude's and Celebration Journal that I work in each week.

It is a reminder to stop and think about not only what we have but what we do with what we have on a daily basis.  Click on the image to be taken to the page.

I love creating in an art journal and you can take a look and see how I created this journal page in the video below.  I really enjoy the process to see how the page starts out and what you eventually end up producing.

Creating Change

I have been playing around with the Gelli Plate which you can purchase at Amazon, you can also see how I made my own and use it HERE to create  backgrounds.  I used my prints from the plate and created some paintings, and here are a couple that I did recently.

Change

The Gelli Plates allow you to create lovely color combinations on your surface.  These two paintings were done on watercolor paper.

Together

Stay blessed!

For the Love of Journals

Inspired by my love of Journals and book binding I created this painting

It shows a young girl being shown her mothers collection of journals and receiving her very first journal

For her to write or paint in and record her own thoughts, adventures, and discoveries

You can see the post I wrote HERE called Journal Celebration.

Gratitude's and Celebration Art

Here is some of the art that I have done as part of my weekly Gratitude's and Celebration Journal.

Each week I write about something that I am grateful for and create a mini painting, why don't you join me on my journey. Here are some of the ones I have done over the past few weeks.

If you click on the image it will take you to the post.  Enjoy and take some time out this weekend to create!
