Creating Change

I have been playing around with the Gelli Plate which you can purchase at Amazon, you can also see how I made my own and use it HERE to create  backgrounds.  I used my prints from the plate and created some paintings, and here are a couple that I did recently.

 The Gelli Plates allow you to create lovely color combinations on your surface.  These two paintings were done on watercolor paper.

For the Love of Journals

Inspired by my love of Journals and book binding I created this painting

It shows a young girl being shown her mothers collection of journals and receiving her very first journal

For her to write or paint in and record her own thoughts, adventures, and discoveries
