Recycling

I love the idea of taking something that would normally be thrown away and creating something else.  These journals started their journey as cereal boxes, junk mail and used envelopes, which we all seem to have so much of.....

with a bit of paint, creativity and imagination they now will tell
many different stories,  I can try out techniques before
committing to larger pieces and basically have fun!

I've just got to be mindful that the collecting
doesn't turn into hoarding!

  1. Great post Amanda. I recycle anything possible and I have to check myself on collecting vs. hoarding too since so many things I would normally throw away has potential to be recycled into some art vision! I love your journals, just beautiful.
