I have been playing around with the Gelli Plate
which you can purchase at Amazon, you can also see how I made my own and use it HERE to create backgrounds. I used my prints from the plate and created some paintings, and here are a couple that I did recently.

The Gelli Plates allow you to create lovely color combinations on your surface. These two paintings were done on watercolor paper.

Wow! These look fantastic, Amanda! I love "Change" and how you mixed the colors and the color combinations are so invigorating! Just curious: after pulling a print off the Gelli Plate, do you ever add embellishments by hand? Sometimes, I do that with machine stitching or embroidery floss.
ReplyDeleteMartice, thank you for visiting, I really like the idea of adding embellishments especially with the machine, I will give it a try;)
