Creating takes time - New Work

I shared on my creativity blog snippets of these paintings on water colour paper, but thought I would share the full size here.  It is amazing how quickly time flies and before you know it you have a handful of paintings that are not quite complete.

I managed after a long time to get away from trying to complete a painting in one go, unless it is a small piece and say in an art journal, and even then because I like working in layers you usually have to wait and take your time to add the next layer.

I hope you enjoy them, let me know what you think, and what you are working on!

  4. I think it is good to put work down and go back to it...as long as it is not forgotten! I really love "What if"! Beautiful. What is she thinking? Her expression has so much to say!

    1. Dawn yes I sometimes go from one extreme to another, but I have enjoyed going back and completing or even redoing a piece of work.
